Sheet metal is a comprehensive cold working process for metal sheets (usually below 6mm), including shearing, punching/cutting/, folding, riveting, splicing, forming (such as car body) etc.
Stainless steel sheet is available in Type 304 and Type 310. Type 304 can be easily roll-formed or bent, and its excellent erosion resistance and weldability make it one of the most general grades. Type 310 is a high corrosion confrontation alloy, providing greater resistance to pitting-type corrosion. Typical uses for Sheet 316 include marine, chemical, paper, textile, and food service applications, such as a stainless steel backsplash. Our sheet is dual certified 310, which helps prevent corrosion after welding.
